The FYMFYG Bar is a great, air-conditioned venue just 2 mins from Bethnal Green tube station (Central Line) and 10 mins from Whitechapel tube station (District & Hammersmith&City Lines).
We have two bars and an event space where we host shows most Wednesdays to Saturdays inclusive.
Our bar opens at 6pm when you can come in for a drink, food, or a game of pool even if you're not coming to a show.
Our venue is also available for Private Hire.

Hi everyone,
The Fymfyg Bar is to be demolished soon and rising from the rubble will be a brand spanking new seven storey Travelodge Hotel. But do not worry, we will be taking over the ground floor and re-opening as a new bar with a new hall at the back for comedy, live music and just about anything. When we return it will better than ever and I hope you will join us. In the meantime, if you could join our emailing list we will keep you up to date on the development.
The original closing date has been moved because, as you'd expect with builders, there's been a delay. The final show will now be Saturday 18th September. That has given us the chance to get in a possible three more nights and we are please to announce that on Thursday 16th September we will have a fantastic show starring 'TV BURP'S' Harry Hill and I shall be performing at the Friday and Saturday shows. Tickets for the these shows are available to buy now. Please note: no offers, promotions or complimentary tickets can be used for these shows.
If you visit the website from time to time, we'll be putting pictures on there of the actual building in progress.
It just leaves me to say a tip top thank you to all of the people that have supported us over the years. See you before Sept 18th and hopefully again next year!
